Typical configurations only. The final specification is set by a traffic calculation and a site survey.
Price depends on capacity, number of floors, rated speed, drive type (hydraulic, traction or machine room-less), shaft and civil work, and cabin finish. A four-stop residential lift and a high-speed lift for a twenty-storey tower are different products entirely. Hub Elevator gives a firm, itemised quote after a free site survey. For low-rise buildings of up to about six floors, hydraulic or machine room-less traction lifts are usually the best value. For mid- and high-rise buildings, gearless traction lifts give better speed and lower running costs. The right choice depends on floor count, traffic and available shaft space.
A lift fitted with an automatic rescue device (ARD) moves the car to the nearest floor on battery power and opens the doors when mains power fails, so passengers are never trapped between floors. We recommend an ARD on every passenger lift in Pakistan.
For a standard passenger lift in a building where the shaft is ready, installation typically takes a few weeks once equipment arrives. Total project time depends on equipment lead time and any civil work, which we set out in the proposal.
